Overview
Swiss Prodig is a B2B web platform helping Swiss companies discover, evaluate, and connect with potential industrial partners. The platform brings together 3,000+ company listings, advanced search filters, detailed company profiles, and sourcing tools, with dedicated features for the watchmaking industry.
My Role
As the UX/UI Designer, I was responsible for the end-to-end design of the platform, from understanding client requirements and defining user journeys to wireframing, UI design, prototyping, and user testing.
I worked closely with the Project Manager during the initial scoping phase and collaborated with developers throughout implementation to ensure design consistency and feasibility.
Design Process
01 — Discovery & Scoping
Worked with the Project Manager to translate the client’s requirements into a clear scope, covering the company directory, advanced search filters, user accounts, and quotation requests. A key challenge was understanding how businesses would search for and evaluate potential industrial partners.
02 — UX Architecture & Wireframing
Mapped out the main user journeys, from searching for companies using industry-specific filters to comparing suppliers and requesting quotes. Created wireframes to structure these flows and organize complex company information.
03 — UI Design & Prototyping
Designed the platform’s interfaces and interactive prototypes in Figma, building on the existing brand identity. Particular attention went into the directory’s filtering system, company profiles, and reusable components to keep the experience consistent across different features.
04 — User Testing & Iteration
Presented prototypes to the client and conducted usability tests with a sample of users, focusing on company discovery and navigation. Feedback from these sessions helped refine layouts, interactions, and overall usability before development.
05 — Developer Collaboration
Worked alongside developers to bring the designs into the final platform, reviewing implemented screens and adjusting UI details where needed. This was especially important for interactive features such as search filters, user accounts, and quotation forms.
